Lori Bonn, Founder & CEO
Founder & CEO of Bonnventures LLC with over 25 years in finance, civic and charitable organizations, campaign management, international organizations and national politics. As a social entrepreneur, Lori has devoted her professional life to cultivating innovative development strategies and collaborations to act as a bridge to connect the passions of social investors, philanthropists and fellow visionaries. Her strategic consulting practice has taken her across the globe to develop meaningful partnerships and powerful initiatives.
Her professional endeavors as a philanthropic social change consultant has brought Lori to over 40 countries, engaging with leading networks of donors, foundations and social innovators devoted to solving many of the world's most pressing social justice issues. She is the co-creator of MyGamePlan.org, a software business intelligence tool that helps non-profits adopt market-based solutions to build efficient, resilient and sustainable organizations.
Some of the organizations she has worked with include the Clinton Global Initiative, Ashoka, LinkTV, Emergency Medicine Patient Safety Foundation, Women's Funding Network, World of Good, International Museum of Women, Women's World Banking, CorStone, Global Competitiveness Forum, Saudi Arabia, and The World We Want Foundation. Lori has a BA in Business Economics from University of California, Santa Barbara and an Executive Certificate on Corporate Social Responsibility from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, CA.
Some of her accomplishments include:
- collaborating at the Skoll World Forum 2008 in Oxford to develop a non-profit social metric tool for measuring social impact;
- meeting with President Batchelet of Chile in 2007 as a member of the Women Donors Network delegation to discuss women’s global leadership & to lobby for sustainable environmental development to meet rising energy needs;
- representing a $3.92 million dollar commitment to the Clinton Global Initiative in 2006 for the development of a technology solution to help provide access to financial services to the world’s rural and urban poor on the African continent;
- coordinating efforts & raising over $30 million dollars for Women for Kerry 2004 for the John Kerry Presidential Campaign;
- forging efforts to fund & legislate for green technology ventures and climate change mitigation programs; and
- developing a project based eco-literacy curriculum for integration & alignment with the national economics standards for U.S. high school seniors in public schools.
John R. Hilley, Founder and President of Patmos Consulting and Joint Partner of MyGamePlan.org
John has been involved with nonprofit leadership and consultative services to nonprofits for over twenty years, specializing in start-up and turnaround settings. He specializes in applying market-based solutions to non-profits to increase their efficiency, sustainability and resiliency. Linking this experience with the extensive need of nonprofits to become better at navigating in the current difficult economic climate, John was the lead creator of the Risk Navigation Tool, a business intelligence app for nonprofits. Not only working with nonprofits, he has provided business continuity management/disaster recovery planning for financial services companies and banks. Some of his past work has included developing business continuity response, relief & recovery efforts across 10 Louisiana parishes post Hurricanes Katrina & Rita and providing analytical and coaching skills in capacity building and the development of strategic alliances with organizations such as the American Red Cross. He holds degrees from Wake Forest University and Princeton Theological Seminary as well as undertaken post-graduate fellowship studies at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. http://www.patmosconsulting.com
