Lori Bonn, Founder & CEO

Lori is the CEO and Founder of Bonnventures LLC, bringing over 25 years of experience in finance, civic and charitable organizations, campaign management, international organizations, and national politics. She specializes in international development and social entrepreneurship offering advanced expertise in philanthropic management and poverty alleviation strategies. Her professional endeavors as a global philanthropic social change consultant have taken Lori around the world, engaging with leading networks of donors, foundations, governmental agencies, and social innovators devoted to solving many of the world’s most pressing social justice issues.

Her work has included co-Founding The World We Want Foundation; participating as a four time Western Regional Judge for the Haas School of Business Global Social Venture Competition; representing a $3.92 million commitment to the Clinton Global Initiative; consulting work to the founders of Ashoka U; board development for Link TV; creating and implementing a strategic presence for the Emergency Medicine Patient Safety Foundation; conducting a SWOT analysis board retreat for the SF Opera Guild; as a member of the Women Donors Network, meeting with President Batchelet of Chile and her Cabinet Ministers on economic and environmental justice issues; collaborating at the Skoll World Forum on social metric tools; microfinance work with Women’s World Banking; program and services development for CorStone; a Speaker at the Global Competitiveness Forum, Saudi Arabia; and a longtime member of the TED community. She was John Kerry’s National Finance Director for Women for Kerry in 2004, coordinating over $30 million for the Presidential Campaign. Lori has been a board director for World of Good Development Organization, the International Museum of Women, 142 Throckmorton Theatre, and Health Education Video Inc.

She has a BA in Business Economics from University of California, Santa Barbara, and an Executive Certificate on Corporate Social Responsibility from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.



Catherine Nottage, Chief Communications Officer

Has spent over 20 years helping clients achieve their communication goals through a variety of solutions. After working around the world on many unique projects, in 1990 she joined the newly created Team One Advertising in Los Angeles, to work on the launch of Lexus Automobiles; following that success with the introduction of Yonex Tennis and Argyle Diamonds. 1994 she moved to San Francisco and opened/built-up a multi-million dollar business and studio for a leading Los Angeles production company, Effective Graphics. Clients included Apple, Levi's, Microsoft, AT&T, Blueshield, Foote Cone & Belding, McCann Worldwide. Following that she navigated a joint venture with Rainier Color, a leading west coast digital studio, and premier printer, Lithographix. From this hands on, as well as executive experience, Catherine co-founded TagTeam Advertising and Marketing in 2006 to provide clients such as Sun Microsystems, Taryn Rose Shoes, Magnolia Films, Compass Analytics and Baker Ave. with alternative solutions for high-impact, results driven creative communication solutions. Through the years she has developed a national network of talented problem solvers, both in creative and strategic development along with other key vendors to deliver solutions for the full spectrum of media including print, broadcast, web and mobile apps.

Originally from Cleveland, she has lived and worked in London, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles and is now happily based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was a past board member of the New Organization for the Visual Arts (NOVA) and is currently on the board of Alpine Meadows Ski Foundation. Catherine holds a BFA from Atlanta College of Art and MFA from Ohio State University.



Christine Nottage, Chief Development Officer

Christine brings 15 years of experience partnering with nonprofits, foundations, academia, corporations, and small businesses relating to the nonprofit sector. Her work encompasses various areas of nonprofit management and development including: designing and implementing high-impact giving programs; program, project and event management; foundation relations, strategic planning, recruitment and delivery of executive and degree programs; board acquisition and development; donor stewardship, alumni management and strategic initiatives, all to improve organizational sustainability.

Some of the organizations she has worked with over the years: Amnesty International, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Make It Right, Case Western Reserve University, High Museum of Art, University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and University of the Pacific, Mission Hospital Foundation, Monterey Bay Aquarium, San Francisco Ballet, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Auburn University, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, The Library of Virginia, North Carolina Medical Society, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Moffitt Cancer Center, Joslin Diabetes Center, Recovery Resources and Goldwell Open Air Art Museum.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Christine has lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for almost 6 years. She has sat on the Board for the Goldwell Open Air Museum for over 4 years. Christine has a Bachelors of Arts from Kent State University and a Masters in Nonprofit Organizational Management from Case Western Reserve University.
